Comicverse staff and security reserve the right to inspect all attendees’ props to ensure that no authentic weapons of any kind are brought onto Scottish Rite Center event building. By attending the convention, all attendees expressly agree and consent to this inspection and waive any and all objections. Any and all authentic weapons are strictly prohibited and those found or identified during any such inspection may be confiscated by convention staff and security.
Ultimately, venue security will decide what is allowed and not allowed into the convention. However, you can assume that the following will NOT be allowed:
Any real firearms.
Any metal weapon with an exposed point or sharpened edge (swords, spears, arrows etc).
Metal or wooden baseball bats and/or clubs.
Any weapon or prop that produces a flame.
Airsoft, paintball, and bb/pellet weapons.

Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy
Comicverse’s mission is to create a safe and entertaining environment where fans of all kinds can come together. As such, we have a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to; making unwanted and/or discriminatory advances on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, physical appearance, age, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal or state laws, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcomed sexual attention or other verbal or physical conduct of a discriminatory nature, or by creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment by engaging in such conduct.
If you feel you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Comicverse staff immediately (identifiable by logoed t-shirt or staff badges). Comicverse staff has the ability to contact security or local law enforcement, and can provide escort, or otherwise assist those feeling they have experienced harassment to ensure they feel safe for the duration of the convention.
No individual shall be intimidated, threatened, coerced, or discriminated against for filing a complaint, furnishing information, or for participating in any manner in an investigation or any other activity related to the administration of the laws and regulations and/or this policy to ensure the appropriate treatment of all who come to the ComicVerse Comic Convention.
The Comicverse staff has sole discretion in determining what constitutes harassment under this policy and reserves the right to take immediate action against anyone who violates this policy, up to and including expulsion from Comicverse (with no refund).
All Attendees, Exhibitors, Sponsors, Associates, and Guests of the Comicverse are subject to this zero tolerance harassment policy.
